MAKING A CAKE (ARTIST)

In 2017 Laura and her husband Ryan moved back to their home state of New Hampshire where Laura started E(at)xactly Cakes from her home kitchen. After 4 years, business outgrew her home kitchen and rather than continue to turn down orders Laura made the decision to expand into retail. When 5 Eagle Square became available she jumped on the opportunity. After a few months of restoring and making the space exactly what Laura envisioned she opened the doors to her retail dream in June of 2022 and renamed the business to Eatxactly Sweet Cafe. After a few months open and the discovery of a baby on the way retail proved challenging but the custom orders were still growing beyond what could ever be done in her home. However with 90+ hour weeks and a new baby it proved to be too much and the decision was made to get back to what Laura knew worked. Laura is back to focusing on the beautiful works of art that she is known for in her home continuing in a way that gives her the chance to do what she loves while focusing on family
